great question.
For my personal taste MJ wins above anyone else period.
AS a purely historical basis I would say ....
Elvis wins as for most influence to Music and Culture in general, but, MJ wins for pure musical ability, both vocal and entertainment factors.
I mean Elvis made Rock 'the' music to love, whereas MJ has been a definer of a lot of trends and dancing, but he did not define an entire genre.
