I'm extremely sympathetic to Sonic. C'mon, he's the Sega equivalent to Mario. Where's the friendly rivalry these days! It's just a pity that Nintendo's hardware competitors don't have any cheerful looking mascots. It ought to be a way of life!
IMO, as long as the controls are great, I'll like Sonic games. (I don't like the racing game controls of Secret Rings, hence I don't even like that game at all. Although I might like Sonic 2006, but I don't have and won't buy either the X360 or PS3).
