"Sonys history in gaming:
PSone: Up the graphics, new format.
While it was foolish of N to use cartridges for this gen Sony doesnt get the credit for introducing CDs. For example the Neo Geo CD used them in 1990 - a generation ahead of Sony.
PS2: Add the rumble that Nintendo had last generation, up the graphics, new format.
So did the Xbox and the GC didnt they?
PSP: Copy the PS2's specs, lose an analog stick, add massive load times and horrible battery life. New format.
Its a handheld, you cant expect it to be mister brilliant.
PS3: Add the Wireless controllers Nintendo had last generation, lose the rumble, up the graphics, new format, (try to) copy the motion control that Nintendo revealed more than a year earlier."
I agree with everything said here except that there have been wireless Nintendo controllers since the NES (NES sattelite), im not sure what other companies have in the way of wireless controllers but I know they have been around for quite a while.
Nintendo history in gaming:
NES: Realease a good system
Snes: Up the graphics...barely and realease a bunch of games with a italian plmber and i new zelda game
8 bit - 16 bit. Wasnt 'barely', has what is in many peoples opinion one of the strongest line ups ever.
N64: Up the graphics..again bareley and realease a bunch more marios and a new zelda again..make the worst system of the gen
3D graphics is hardely 'barely' has some of the greatest games in history made for it (goldeneye, OoT, Majoras Mask to name a few). 'Worst system' is entirely subjective and personally I consider it to not only be the best of the gen but one of my favourites ever.
Gamecube: Up the Graphics barely and again more mario and zelda....make the worst system of the the gen....
Graphics are better than the PS2's. You were saying?
