Well, I don't think the $199 Arcade model will be any kind of threat to the Wii because most salespeople will have to inform the buyer that they'll need to shell out a hundred bucks for a harddrive eventually.
But this big drop will no doubt help them coming into the holiday season.
They are missing the point about why the Wii sells, though. It's the simplicity and innovation, not just low cost and casual games.
