I tried to keep bias out of that post. So far, at different times online, I've been called a Nintendo fanboy, Xbox360 fanboy, Sony hater, and a PS3 fanboy. Go figure.
There's another thread on here (I forget which) where I crunched the numbers for total sales based on average monthly sales of the current three systems. It was loose in that, the end result "assumed" that sales maintain that average--in reality, they'll gradually drop with occasional spikes during the launch of high-profile exclusives and price cuts--holidays maintain roughly the same trend, just with higher overall numbers; so percentage-wise, holidays are hardly any different from the rest of the year. Even with the PS3's slightly higher sales for the bulk of this year, by 2010, it still didn't outsell the Xbox360.
