If for some odd reason you do bother trying to reply, you'll have to come up with an answer for this before I even consider taking you seriously: if piracy isn't stealing, why is it against the law?

 

 

Medical marijuana is technically illegal, does that make it bad? Having sex in a position other than missionary is against the law in some states, does that make it bad? In some muslim countries it is a capital offense to be a lesbian or a homosexual, does that make it bad? Try another argument.

 

So let me get this straight:

• You're saying it's cool to take something without paying for it
• You're cool with taking money away from people that put years of their life into what you just took?

I completely agree that some laws are stupid, but that doesn't mean all laws are stupid.  According to your argument taking a gun and shooting babies should be fine since being a homosexual in some countries is against the law.

 

I wasnt talking about piracy, i was talking about your argument against piracy. Pick a better argument, that's all i am saying.

For example: Piracy is bad because it is illegal. That's a bad argument

Piracy is bad because it takes away money from developers. That's a good argument.
