I don´t care what they did when (BTW old Jack acted fantastic in "As good as it gets") I adore both of them a lot but I think you have to mesure them by what they did in their prime, and Jacks acting skills in his prime are unmatched... Clint may be a great director but he´s not the best, Jack still sets the high mark for playing borderline insane charakters... so in my book he winns the talen competition... if you want to take into account the good and the bad (and the ugly) you need to consider coutless mediocre westerns Clint did as well...
