That was my favorite era in gaming. Competition was at an all-time high. Sega and Nintendo were cranking out quality products and snatching up exclusive support left and right. Both systems kicked ass. It was the last generation before giant corporations gained a foothold and used money to off-set the industry. It was the last generation where the focus was on games and gaming, rather than having ultra-corporations duking it out by buying up developers.
