Welcome to the People's Republic of Alaska, where every resident this year will get a $3,200 payout, thanks in no small measure to the efforts of Sarah Palin, the state's Republican governor. That's $22,400 for a family of seven, like Palin's.

 

That's funny.  I thought our economy was doing poorly.  I got a stimulus package of $300 this year.  Every single person in Alaska gets 10 times that much?

 

Well yeah... you didn't know that?  Everyone in Alska gets money for oil company drilling in public land.

It's no different form someone complaining one state has an advantage in healtchare, or  job market then another state.

They're just using there national resources to their advantage.
