Now read them out loud to yourself. If it still doesn't sound incredibly contrived and stupid, read it in front of a neutral audience. And yes Planescape: Torment was some good story telling. Not high brow art, but definitely compelling. I generally try to avoid anime and all its forms and definitely the nerd arguments, but this comment was just too much. I'll just leave it at that, I don't want to make it personal. I do have to ask, though, honestly: Have you ever actually read a book that didn't have pictures in it? |
