Can the worldwide 360-PS3 gap decrease to only 3 million by January 2009?

Your right, I mean, lets just forget what the previous price cut did for the 360... It made their sales numbers fly high like the Hindenberg!

Anyways, I think its highly probable, unless this price drop actually does something for the 360 I dont see the sales gaps changing.

The Europe/Others price cut wasn't in the 360's strongest region, so you might be comparing apples to oranges.  Also, most people in NA tend to wait until the Christmas season to make > $100 gift purchases, so a price cut in the near future is more likely to boost sales than a cut further from the holiday season.
