I don't doubt they're cookin' up yet another PS3 SKU, but Sony already said they can't afford to do any more price cuts in the immediate future, otherwise they won't be making any money back on the thing. With MS looking at some price cuts--pretty steep cuts so far in Japan--they'll likely garner higher sales than Sony as we cruise into the holidays.
