Think Microsoft will do anything to keep it exclusvie.

And that's funny how they are ALWAYS chasing after PS3 exclusives but they wouldn't DARE let Sony touch Gears - IMO that's pretty twisted and greedy.

"Twisted and greedy" is the definition of microsoft.

Have you seen how badly they've just started screwing developers making XBLA content? They slashed the dev's percentage from 75% to 30%, and right as Wiiware was showing up on the horizon, too (which offers developers 65%).

And Gears 3 will stay exclusive because MS is moneyhatting the fuck out of Epic. Is that even in question?

Mark Rein: "Epic owns Gears of War. Sorry but I can't elaborate on the nature of our relationships with publishers"

Translation: "Thanks to Microsoft, my new house is going to be built out of GOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLD!!!

"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks
