Start, run regedit. Go to HKEY_local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Run. Delete entries that you don't want.
Do the same for HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Run.
That's how I roll.
Or MSConfig works for you lesser users 
. I just hate the 'You have modified your system' prompt you get after rebooting the first time when you use MSConfig.
