That's odd, my friend uses a 32" Sharp Aquos and he gets Jaggies on his Wii and PS2 games. His movies look sharper, though that's to be expected since the screen is smaller. Sadly, he paid more for his 32" Aquos than I did for my 42" Samsung, which looks signifficantly better for Wii games.

I suppose the 42" Aquos could have better picture than the 32", but that seems very unlikely to me. Have you ever seen Wii games played on it? Also a 42" Aquos will cost him much more money (looking at $1800 plus from what I've seen).

Does he use the component input? I sit about nine feet away from my set and have never noticed jaggies.

Of course, now that you said something, I'm probably going to see them everywhere.

Thanks for ruining everything

lol I'm sure if it looked good before it will keep looking good.  His may be older than yours too, but yeah he uses a component as well.  I wonder if there really is a picture quality difference or some difference in the input and upscaling that makes the 42inch Aquo look better than the 32, or if it's some other factor.

More on the original topic though, this is a horrible time of the year to go out TV hunting.  All TVs are full price right now, so wait till the holidays.  Oh and be SURE to use Component cables, cause any HD TV will give you jaggies without component cables.
