Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong (“SCEH”) is set to release PLAYSTATION®3 (“PS3™”) software “LittleBigPlanet™” (Chinese + English version) in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore as well as on PLAYSTATION®Store in October 2008, same as Europe, North America and Japan.
The world of “LittleBigPlanet™” is unlike anything you have visited before: a handcrafted landscape made from textured materials together with pure imagination! Instead of pre-scripted gameplay normally seen in platform games, it uses an advanced physics system which takes full advantage of the PLAYSTATION®3 systems power, and even the most experienced players will be amazed by the cool little character Sackboy.
“LittleBigPlanet™” is a unique adventure game enabling players to play, create and share their gaming. In this world where your imagination is the only limitation, you will control our cute little hero Sackboy to explore around the planet. You will visit some amazing locations to restore peace for “LittleBigPlanet™” and create a brand new world for everyone. If you feel like pouring your imagination into the world of “LittleBigPlanet™”, you can enjoy high flexibility in editing the stages that appear in the story mode and add your personal touch. You can also build up stages from scratch by making use of numerous materials and magical devices, and then share it via PLAYSTATION®Network in the LittleBigPlanet™ community to have fun with all players around.
What’s more, players can use the USB camera “PLAYSTATION®Eye” to snap a picture of their own and create customized stickers or decorations for their stages, making the whole gaming experience personal and unforgettable.
“LittleBigPlanet™” (Chinese + English version) is fully localized in Traditional Chinese while players can still opt to play in English. This ensures that every user in the Asian region can enjoy this unprecedented gaming experience at ease.
