Microsoft's strategy is to take a loss on consoles and make a profit on accessories and games. Nintendo won't cut it's prices. If their consoles always sell out, it would be dumb to cut the price, it would be smarter to raise the price, that's why it costs more to buy it on ebay, it's simple economics.
