I hate it when people take a core plot device and use it against the character. I hate it when people say "OMG TIDUS CRIES = FAIL!!!" when it's a central plto device. It happens with other gaems too. Like TWEWY people are always like "OMG EMO CHARACTERS!" when it's a CENTRAL PLOT DEVICE! So annoying.

although I've never played TWEWY, so I cannot comment on that....yet
