I agree with Soriku, Avatars are already their response to Home and the Mii. They don't have to make a virtual social world in my opinion. In the new fall update, you'll be able to create parties of Avatars to watch Netflix or play other games together. Sure, it might be a bit harder to find these people without a virtual world to find them first... But hey, that's what phones, MSN and ''add as friend'' features from many various games are for right?^^
