Wow! Someone who works for the Sony Lifestyle Site endorses Home! - now that's an impartial report that can be relied upon. It's clear from his report that he hasn't tried the beta himself and is basing his comments on what he has been told. He's a fantasist. The good points he's writing about are ones he envisages could be included within the next 5 years. Sorry but this report is trash.
I don't understand the hype over Home or avatars. I just want to be able to access games or downloadable content quickly. I see Home as making the whole process slower; prettier but slower. I liked the Microsoft system of using blades, which could be selected quickly, although the amount of content available for download was beginning to make it unwieldy. Apple do this sort of thing best.
