First there was Final Fantasy XIII on 360 annouced at E3 which cause the server to almost crash (i think i couldn't get on the site for a couple hours)
Then there was a trend to call yourself the Console (Sony Nintendo Microsoft) Leader and to fight for the death for it. Off topic then had stuff like the YOU leader and the hentai leader and it killed the trend.
Then Twestern started an epic thread on demotivational posters in off-topic.
