When you are a silverlight developer you also have to use Microsoft Expression Blend & Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, .NET, ..all Microsoft products.. you don't have a choice.. And Silverlight is way less crossplatform then Flash.. |
What about <canvas>, <video> and SVG? All of these are much easier to create and handle than Flash. With Silverlight, of course you have a choice: Moonlight is going to be completely open, cross-platform, fully compatible and supported by MS. Somebody will then modify it so you can use any tool you want.
