How is Home going to bring Sony money....Are they going to charge for it?
I agree, Bitmap, that Microsoft isn't doing everything they should. It should be a service where "anything goes" - The problem is that about 30-40% of what has been put on XBLA is crap, and it clogs up the virtual retail space - Imagine the same number of copies of "My Barbie Ultimate Adventure" next to the same number of copies of Wii Fit, or Halo 3.
Microsoft SHOULD fix UI issues, and be all-inclusive with the service. Unfortunately, they aren't doing that, and that's a big, stupid issue that I think Microsoft is going to hurt themselves on.
However, it's still a service where smart, indie developers can make quality games and do very, very well against the big boys - You know it's a different playing field when the top 2 games in revenue (as of late) come from The Behemoth, who have 1 shipped retail title, and a 1-man team with Braid..All the while Braid has outsold Bionic Commando on all 3 services in terms of revenue. That's why Microsoft's system is working well - because there's absolutely no way that Braid could of outsold BC:R in the real world - It would of been Okami'd.
