Before I did the test I knew I was going to fall on the Fiscally-Conservative/Libertarian quadrant because I have taken similar tests in the past ... Now, I could be wrong but I suspect that you're going to find that most people who run for office tend to be more authoritian because you would have to believe in the governments ability to be a positive influence on a person's life to run for government. If you look at more socialist/authoritian leaders they tend to have a nasty habit of destroying any ecconomy they run, so it is likely that governments like that tend not to be very successful.

People who are libertarian (right or left) are probably not going to run for office, and left (socialist) authoritian people tend to destroy the ecconomy they run.
