So what if the DS gets 10 hours? When is the average person ever going to need a handheld's battery to last for 10 hours straight? Five hours for the PSP is fine. It's not like it's the Gamegear which only lasted 1.5 hours and you had to stay plugged into a wall at every moment you played it.
Do you think it would be selling so well if the battery life were that big of a deal?

It'd be selling better. My DS can sleep forever. Let a PSP sleep for a bit, and your playtime ends.

I've accidentally put my PSP into sleep mode instead of powering it off a few times. I can turn it on a day or two later and it's still good for a few hours of play.

Well, perhaps mine is retarded. I have bad luck. 360 Red Ringed (Did towel trick, all better) Gamecube stopped reading discs, PC is where Spyware goes to party.
