Now the other list given is pretty good. I have never seen majority of those games for Wii or simply have never heard of them at all. Some of those actually look to appeal to the HC audience such as myself but Nintendo doesnt seem to advertise these as they should. If I have heard of half of those games before maybe I would not be so utterly disgusted with the games the Wii currently has to offer. When some of those great games are actually released maybe my opinion of the Wii can change, until then, I stand my ground.

Smash Brothers Brawl has a huge tournament scene, and MKWii has one as well. That is the furthest you can get from casual. Your statement was, however, that their best selling games were mini-game collections that had no appeal to the hardcore gamer. Are you trying to say that the best rated game of the generation doesn't appeal to hardcore gamers in the same breath as saying reviewers cater to hardcore gamers?
