I knew someone would make a comment on my statement, so why did you do it? Is it because you can't wait for it to overtake also?
My point is simple...am not sure why you think what I said means its defeated, lol I could care less am not a fanboy and matter fact the ps3 was my first choice. You can back the ps3 all you want.....I just put my 2 cents in and you decided to talk about all those points that had nothing to do with what I said....

I was not trying to attack you in any way if that is the impression you got. I was simply refuting your argument. Your argument is that a console being dominant market leader doesn't change everything. In that case we could have all been happy with last gen, as everyconsole would have everygame. Market leader changes alot of things that should be important to gamers who own a particular console. If your console goes the way of the Dreamcast how does that not effect you? That means you no longer will be getting any games. This is BAD. If your console is Market Leader expect more exclusive games coming your way, games that will not be allowed on other systems. If last gen can be interpreted into this gen, then the 360 could possiblely get the shaft with virtually getting no games on it when it has been seen as market loser. And my very long post was mostly to get to the very last point I made in original post, That the 360 simply cannot last as long as the PS3. It does not hold the tech to survive more then a few years. PS3 does. If MS comes out with a new system and cancel all production for it's previous one (alla XBOX style) then you will be screwed as a gamer on an HD Console.

THis was my point, Sry for long Posts.

Ok, I understand where you're coming from, why I said things may not change, is because my the time the ps3 overtakes the 360 in sales....the 360 will have a pretty good userbase that would keep developers making games for it, and thats the important thing for me. Now about how long the 360 can last in the market, I don't have any input other than we'll see how things go in the future.

The dreamcast failed badly, but with the userbase on the 360 double of the dreamcast and still doing decent sales on a week to week basis, am not worried about it as of now....thanks for your reply and sorry if I misunderstood anything you said.
