FPSs and RPGs last gen were a dime a dozen, many dont have the funds to pic up every mediocre game that comes out. That is why only the best of the best get noticed. If they cared about generating alot of sales they simply would make their games better, but they dont. The Tales series, as well as others, are simply there to generate a little bit of sales on a tiny budget, enough to make a reasonable profit. This is how the system works. |
If you're trying to say that sales show a game's quality then you fail miserably.
Persona 3 > FFXII, or at least FFX-2 (can't deny that one) but look at the sales. It's not the best of the best the ones that get noticed, it's the most well known and advertised ones.
