To those calling for better batteries (in the same form factor):
Ain't gonna happen. Li-Ion is dangerously close to packing too much in there to be safe as is (witness the laptop fires when production goes wrong). Setting aside that issue, battery research is not exactly lightning quick. It can take decades to get a better battery.
Every company (and their dogs!) are trying to get better batteries for stuff like mobile phones, laptops, etc because every single customer makes the same complaint: they don't last long enough. Yet apart from introducing Li-Ion a few years back nothing has changed.
In fact, most companies try to find ways to reduce battery usage instead of trying to get better batteries. Because improving batteries is just to darned hard.
