Is it that hard to improve on battery life geez thats the crucial part of a handheld since they'er supposed to have a decent battery. its not just about playing for hours and hours but the hassle of recharging every 4-5 hours which drains the efficiency of the battery and with a long life you dont have to worry about being stranded somwhere without your charger.

Yes... it's VERY VERY hard to improve battery life... there aren't MANY leaps or jumps at ALL in Laptop Computers when it comes to Efficiency vs Power... it's either equipped with Intel ULV to save battery (clocked low) to allow laptop to last up to 10 hours, or just forget about battery life.

The PSP's screen, and cpu takes up a lot more power than the DS. You are comparing PSP and a DS like a Core 2 Duo 2.2GHz with something like 8400Go Laptop vs like a Core Single ULV 1.2 GHz with Onboard Graphics card laptop...

Btw, turning off PSP's wi-fi when you are not using do save battery life.
