Tetris Attack (SNES, Panel de Pon and Puzzle league are good, but the animation of the blocks makes the SNES one the best in my book)
Final Fantasy VII (PS1, No game has ever had a story and presentation (combined) to get me so involved. Even when I play it today, it touches me. Sappy but not too sappy. The chararcter seem real, and have depth)
Mario64 (N64, this was a hard choice 1 and 3 are so good, but 64 is the one that I still play the most. The best 3d level design on any platformer still holds up. Why games don't copy the lay out and physics boggles my mind. The only 3d platformers that come any where close are Banjo 1 and 2)
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
