I really can't see the Shenmue saga ending at Shenmue 3. I would be a really long game, especially if they included the first chapters.
To me, Ryo still has a long way to go before he can stand a chance against Lan Di. I wouldn't like it they rushed his evolution into adulthood, and into a true master of the martial arts,...
I'd rather have him evolving a bit more in a 3rd game to get to the point where we can believe he's almost ready to face Lan Di. And then have a 4th game were the story finishes with the showdown between the two.
