Yes, it shows my lack of understanding. JFK saved the world by ending a pissing contest that no one would have started because of assured mutual destruction.
That ranks way higher than the Great Depression, WWII, or the myriad of other problems this country has faced.

I agree that it shows your lack of understanding. All the top American leaders, except JFK, wanted a naval blockade and airstrikes into Cuba, which would have most likely caused the Soviets to answer back. Read more about the politics of the Cuban Missile Crisis, specifically the stances of Americas decision makers at that time, to further your understanding of the topic.

Oh, I agree, we have to look no farther than Iraq to find JFK's wonderful achievements.
I give that post a 9.2.

Replace crappy Iraqi SCUD missiles with Soviet nuclear missiles for a better comparison.

No, dude, I am totally with you, entering America in to the war that fed Hollywood with some of the best war movies with 60's/70's soundtracks and setting up another country with a brutal dictator that we had later remove, all in the span of under 3 years, in no way makes one good decision look bad. Even a blind dog sometimes fucks the right hole.
I give that post a 9.2.

Oh you didn't mean just the genocide. You meant putting that guy in power too... yeah that was bad... and you could argue was the foundation and beginning that eventually led Sadam Hussein in power.
