1. Depends on your finances and the time you are wiling to put into it. There is plenty of room to get more than your money's worth if you commit to it;
2. There are "Rookie servers" which will fit your needs there is now a tutorial you gain trophies for. To be proficient takes time, but you can quickly jump in learn the basics and be having fun;
3. Nope, not at all;
4. I find it much more enjoyable than COD4. When I die in COD4 I curse at myself. When I die in Warhawk, I usually laugh my ass off. I've only played the demo of Bad Company. I didn't like how the tank handled. Warhawk's community will outlast Bad Company's, IMO.
