Reading more about her, I'm really starting to warm to this choice. She's fought to open the ANR while keeping it environmentally feasible, she's known for fighting excessive spending, and she has a reputation for doing what she feels is right over what the party might want her to do.

Plus, she sounds like a real firecracker who isn't afraid to bust some balls to get what she wants. I like that in a woman. I'm still not sold on that Pro-Life bullshit but I think McCain may have gotten my vote back. Time will tell.

She is the closest thing (I think) we're going to get to Ron Paul for awhile...So be glad. Hopefully you like Ron Paul :)

At any rate, her policies are sound, and she's trying to do the economically right thing, while respecting everyone and everything when possible. I know some argue that McCain is trying to appeal to the female base, but he's not.

Go read palinforvp.com - There's nothing on that pro-palin website that has "oh, she'll get female votes!" Most of their focus is on cutting pork barrel spending, and ending government corruption. That's something we should all want.

I've been a registered Libertarian for a decade so yeah, you could say I like Ron Paul (though he's a little batty even for my tastes).

I don't like Ron Paul.  Because he's a super libertarian in everything.... except gay marriage.  I mean... I can't stand people who are all "We shouldn't make it illegal to stop people from doing things to themselves or to other consenting people... except gay marriage."

It's just... I can't process it.
