Reading more about her, I'm really starting to warm to this choice. She's fought to open the ANR while keeping it environmentally feasible, she's known for fighting excessive spending, and she has a reputation for doing what she feels is right over what the party might want her to do.
Plus, she sounds like a real firecracker who isn't afraid to bust some balls to get what she wants. I like that in a woman. I'm still not sold on that Pro-Life bullshit but I think McCain may have gotten my vote back. Time will tell.

Mark my words, if McCain is elected to office and one of the liberal judges on the Supreme Court dies in office/retires, McCain will do everything in his power to appoint someone who will overturn Roe v. Wade. If he does, Roe v. Wade will be overturned within 1-5 years of that person's appointment.
At least the Democrats will have a majority in the Senate, which will make the battle tougher.

Which will be not much since the Democrats will as you mention... have a vast majority everywhere.
