I think Braid is a better game (everyone should see how time manipulation is really done in gaming) but I played Geo Wars 2 alot more and is more addictive. If you are a more 'twitch' kind of player then GeoWars 2, but if you like to see true innovation in a game, get Braid. Halo or Call of Duty? I would choose Halo 3 but take my advice with a pinch of salt as I dont like WW2 shooters as well and only have ever played COD2 a long time ago. The Halo universe is very rich and the setpieces have more variety. I really would consider Gears/BioShock as well if you are looking for shooters. Which RPG to get? As an RPG starter pack, I recommend Mass Effect, Oblivion, Lost Odyssey. If you want more, get Eternal Sonata and Blue Dragon. For future titles, I dont think you can go wrong with Fable 2, Infinite Undiscovery and The Last Remnant. If you live in the US, dont forget Tales of Vesperia. Is Xbox Live Gold worth it if I´m not a big online player? Free weekends are extremely rare, I think I only remember it happening twice in my 2 years ownership of the 360. But you do get weeks membership for some games like Halo 3. Imho if you are not planning to hook up to Live at least 3-4 times a week, then I dont think its worth it. In my 2 years, I havent paid for Gold as yet. But for the brief time I was Gold from freebies, I was very addicted to Halo 3 and Gears. However, I didnt feel the price at that point made me jump to keep on playing and was happy with the single player games and XBLA games. However, this is quickly changing as holiday 2008 is fast approaching with co-op heavy games. I actually plan on taking my first plunge into Gold this week (if they fix the Castle Crashers online modes). There is also Too Human, Fable 2 co-op and I plan to play Gears 2 online heavily. One more consideration is that Gold members can download demos on the day they are out but Silver members need to wait a week now.
