He might be a fanboy but he does make some valid points in his reviews

 

Hillary's reputation has been earned by making incorrect statements about numerous titles.  A couple of those reviews were Lost Odyssey and Assasins Creed.  IGN readers know when we see a comment from Hillary about a slow frame rate that it probably doesn't exist or is not nearly as extreme as stated in his reviews. 

I would have like to have seen a second opinion from a different IGN editor, one whose reputation hasn't been tarnished as of late.
