For another example... take Chrono Trigger.
Few games on SNES were praised more for both it's music and it's visual style. It was probably the slickest looking game on the SNES.
Also usually the consensus pick for best RPG of all time.
Ask anyone what they remember It will be the music in most cases.
When both are done well.... music will win out everytime.
