So the issue is that the market is owercrowded with action hack and slash games. Devil May Cry 4 sold really well beause its more approachable than NG series. Being an xbox exclusive last gen, not a lot of people have had the chance to play it. And from what most people tell me that didn't play it...the general opinion of this game is "I heard its really hard...I don't like hard". So that is the problem with NG2 sales...people seem scared to try it. Otherwise 1 mil is not a bad sales figure at all...

I was trying to say that NG2 had too many copies at retail, not that there are too many games of this genre on the market. I'll try to word it different for next time. But 1mil units is a lot, just that the market still has a nice supply of these games and the price has already been dropped so soon into the games life.
