By the same horrible logic Wii Sports with it's "intense leaderboards" and medals is hardcore!  OMG Nintendo isn't abandoning the hardcore!  They're secretly turning disabled grandmas and housewives into hardcore gamers!

No there abandoning the casual since its the first year with out a Mario Party...
