Madden '08 comes out on August 14 for virtually every platform on this planet. I personally dislike Madden games, as I do with most other mainstream games that EA releases, but I still think it's important to note which
console that this game sells best on.
The Wii should have a 10 million WW userbase by release, with about 4.0 million in America.
The PS3 should have a 4 million WW userbase by release, with about 1.8 million in America.
The 360 should have a 10.4 million WW userbase by release, with about 6.6 million in America.
With this knowledge, which of the new-gen consoles will see the best sales from this game. And for the big sales-buffs, possibly provide sales estimates. I haven't really paid attention to Madden trends in the past, so I don't want to provide my guess.
Nintendo has pretty much relied on first-party software sales since the days of the N64, but if games like this start selling well on the Wii, third-party focus could shift more towards Ninty.
