8. Piracy actually seems to be nuetral as far as the economy goes....
and there is a LOT of evidence backing it up. VS none against it outside of the "come on... it's common sense!" arugement.

Piracy is wrong... but to claim that it has an economic inpact on companies is unproven at this point... and considering other studies in other kinds of piracy, like the aboved music one... likely should be the unexpected result. Not the expected one.
The only researching that actually shows an effect tend to be ones that go by total CDs sold and shipped to stores, or ones that just count every pirated copy they can find as a lost sale.
The second is obviously spurious, while the first is spurious because it ignores all legal downloadble music and just the fact that stores don't carry as many backstock cds anymore.
