i was faced with the same question of whether i needed another console (like you i own the ps3 and wii). i hardly have any time to play the current consoles i have, so even though my wife was going to buy the xb360 for me i asked her not to. i guess i should also mention that i'm not much of a fan for fps's.
i guess it depends on how much you like the games you want for it and how much you see yourself playing it in the future. $300 is still $300 and that's a lot of money.
