So, am I the only person who finds it really interesting that the argument a lot of people are using on RE4 is the same that people use on popular Wii games?
Example:
"It looks like there aren't going to be anymore new survival horror games coming out ever"
"What about RE4?"
"That's not a REAL survival horror game. REAL games follow this really specific formula."
"It looks like there aren't going to be anymore new good games coming out ever"
"What about Wii Sports/Music/Animal Crossing?"
"Those aren't REAl games. REAL games follow this really specific formula."
Anyway, I'm glad that we are getting more 'fake' survival horror games like RE4 compared to 'real' ones like RE1-3. I used to own RE2 and I couldn't get past the very beginning. It was a terrible game. The controls sucked, and even if you got over the clunky as hell controls you would still never be able to kill anything because you only get like 3 bullets in the entire game. OTOH, I've beaten RE4 at least 3 times, and gotten all the extra unlockable stuff.
Wii has more 20 million sellers than PS3 has 5 million sellers.
