It's nice how he explains why there will be a spin-off now with the deserves of the game's characters.
"I would like to give Sora a break from large adventures for a little while."
The real reason is that they don't really know yet for which platform they should develop kh3, so they develop a spin-off for the most profitable platform out there - the ds.
