Will there ever be another AAA survival horror game?

And what is your definition of survival horror? That you don't consider RE4 to be survival horror?

1) Being scary.

2) Giving me a sense of helpless-ness (whether it be what I was facing or what I as facing it with i.e bullet count).

 

RE4 didn't do either of those two (or at least oftenly enough for me to be scared.

 

Actually being scary to you or not does not determine if it is a survival horror.  You could not define a genre by whether or not it scares a certain individual.

RE4 is certainly a Survival Horror by what wikipedia says, and to me as well.  It's defined by theme, not whether a certain person is scared by it or not.
