Actually... whoever mentioned taking the BD-drive out has an idea there... not advertising the console as a PS3, but as something else... like the PSN console, or something. A console that is essentially a PS3 with everything taken out except what's needed at bear minimum to run PSN titles, and downloaded movies.
It would have to be branded as something completly different from the PS3, though. But both would have to exist.
