It looks like a rental I have seen mixed reviews on this game. Gamepro only gave the game 7 out of 10 and said it is for JRPG nuts only. I guess that basically alienates a lot of people from the game.

Gamepro isn't a very reliable reviewer since they generally rate game a little too low or a little too high

They're alright. The review is a 3.5/5. Really short, says it's the best game in the series, ect. Same as the other reviews, just lower numerical score.

Gamepro - 3.5/5 http://www.gamepro.com/article/reviews/206882/tales-of-vesperia/

Tales of Vesperia is a fairly straightforward Japanese RPG, which isn't a bad thing at all. Sure, it's clich?d and it doesn't reinvent the wheel. I'm not telling you to run out and buy it as the next big innovation in role playing, though; I'm saying if you have a soft spot in your heart for RPG games and you liked the other Tales titles, then this is a pretty safe bet for you.

Interesting note, this is also the first female reviewer. I've added it.

As KZ2 and every other fanboy can see, even the worst review so far recommends a purchase to Tales fans.

...and the other reviewers mostly agree it's the best jrpg so far this gen, and the best in the Tales series, with an average of 60 hours worth of gameplay, so totally a rental, right KZ? I mean, all those "mixed" reviews, you never know. Right?

Its always painful to see someone fall foul of the wrath of Zen.

I know from personal experience

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD
