I think they would pay, but I don't think Rockstar would do it. Unless the got like 100 mil for doing it. Multiplatforming for Rockstar is very profitable, and I don't think they will drop it.
Square has worked very well and closely with Sony over the recent years. Remember Sony hosted Final Fantasy XI in all its wretched &^%(&%*%(^(ness. ahem. It's worse than evil!!!! Ok stay on topic here.... I doubt very much that Square-Enix will abandon Sony all together, especially with the main line. The only thing I could see is a Chocobo's Dungeon III:Special Edition type thing and really would be heavily influenced if There was no PS4 present on the market.
As for MGS .... They need to stop sleeping with each other first. LOL /jk
but seriously, I think much of the game series' technical designed is based on Playstation infrastructure. Sure they had the posibilty explored with Snake Eater where they multiplatformed but I don't think they felt it worth while and MGS4 evidences that argument.
So yeeeah I don't see it happening , at all.
